Denny Segal’s daughter Brittany orchestrates a dinner for the needy at a downtown eastside shelter the last Friday of every month. Brittany organizes the menu, does all of the shopping for the food items, organizes a group of volunteers, and ensures that the entire evening comes off without a hitch and up to 200 people are well treated and fed. Origin has been pleased to support financially and with volunteers, Brittany has been recognized for her local philanthropy by the YWCA as a nominee for the Women of Distinction award in 2011.
